President Obama didn’t end the war in Iraq former President George W. Bush did! You read my statement correctly, former U.S. President George W. Bush on December 14, 2008, signed the security pact with Iraq called The U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. A status of forces agreement (SOFA) between Iraq and the United States. It establishes that U.S. combat forces and all U.S. forces will be completely out of Iraq by December 31, 2011 (official name: “Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq”) On October 16, 2008, after several more months of negotiations, U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice briefed senior U.S. lawmakers on the draft SOFA, and Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki prepared to circulate it with Iraq’s Political National Security Council before going on to the Council of Ministers and the Iraqi parliament.
On December 14, 2008, U.S. President George W. Bush signed the security pact with Iraq.
So, you see Obama didn’t lie about the war Iraq was ending he just didn’t tell you it wasn’t his idea to end the war. Obama, the American people aren’t stupid we remember this agreement Bush put into place & no you can’t take credit for ending the war in Iraq. You will not get re-election in 2012 you little pre-election tatics didn’t work on the American people we see right thru you.
